Among the many classmates who are becom- ing surgeons of one kind or another is Fred Fu, who will finish his residency in orthopedic sur- gery at the University of Pittsburgh next summer. Fred reports that he is learning a great deal from another alumnus, Albert Ferguson '4l. Fred and his wife Hilda are the parents of four-year-old Gordon and were expecting another child in August. They hope to remain in Pittsburgh when Fred finishes his residency.

Jeff Jones reports that Willie Williamson got married, with the assistance of a large group of '74s, to Alice Witte of Cincinnati. Among the Dartmouth contingent were Mike Draznik,Don Casey, A 1 King, Tom Eggleston, PaulLukeman, and Rick Waddell '75. When he isn't busy with pressing social engagements, Jeff is brand manager for Pampers at Proctor and Gamble. Expectant parents, take note!

Steve oc- casionally attends Dartmouth Club cocktail par- ties, where he reports seeing Steve Mc-Cormack and Jonathan Hodgson. New England is also home tojohn Knight, who lives in Nashua, N.H., with his wife Meredith and children Jocelyn and Douglass. He is manager of engineering for instrument products medical equipment, mostly for MFE .Corporation.

Eric Johnson works as a painting contractor in Burlington, Vt. He spends his spare time working on a novel and "may finish it." Eric aspires to write screenplays and novels for a liv- ing, a big step up from writing for Ski and Ski-ing.

Way up north in Anchorage, Alaska, BobSpitzfaden reports that he is doing "the usual stuff getting smashed, doing a little work, and staying alive." He is working in a law partnership, concentrating on Native American corporations. Bob sees Herb "The Champ"Hopkins and his trainer, Dick Ellsworth. In- cidentally, Tom Csatari also reports having seen Herb. Herb has apparently traded Alaskan fisticuffs for Philadelphian rugby while attend- ing Wharton.

I ran into Charlie Post in Hanover after a football game. Charlie has recently moved to New York, where he is the business manager for the Columbia Journalism Review. He is greatly pleased to be in New York and plans to visit Hanover a bit more often.

Cindy Bencal is living and teaching English in the Boston area. Recently, she wrote a text- book for sixth graders which should be pub- lished in 1983 as part of a language arts series. Cindy went to a mini-reunion in Jamaica last February with Jean Weinburg and Laura Cuetara.

Peter Davidson is in the construction busi- ness, working as a supervisor building con- dominiums. He reports that Dan Q'Haire has gotten a six-month contract with G.C.Ch Minerals. He will be looking for zinc in Alaska's Brooks Range.

Pete Edson is still in the Upper Valley, run- ning his Dad's farm. During the winter he coaches skiing for Lebanon High School. Pete reports seeing James "Porkroll" Taylor, Er. nie Page, and Dave Kruschwitz occasionally The Valley News also carried a story on Jim Taylor's success as "Best Overall" in a woods- worker's contest this summer. The contest was open only to people employed in woodscrafts.

Dave Marston, our ineffable "Pinball Wizard," is working at Dynamic Associates, part of Interactive Data Corporation, writing computer software. In his spare time, Dave is disc jockey for a golden oldies show at WHRB in Boston. Dave, of course, will be long remembered for his WDCR Hall of Fame broadcasts.

Till the snow falls!
