The news received from the College in recent weeks mentions the wedding of Steve Allison and Kirstin White. Kristin, a graduate of Simmons College in Boston, is a registered nurse at Massachusetts General Hospital. Steve is assistant vice president at Spaulding and Slye Corporation.

A clipping from the New York Times announced the engagement of Juana Leboy to JimBurr. Juana is a graduate of New York University and is employed by the Suffolk County Development Center as an occupational therapist. Jim, who is remembered among other achievements for his fine trombone work for the Barbary Coast, is a systems engineer with the PCK Technology Division of the Kollmorgen Corporation, an electronics firm in Glen Cove, New York.

Hopkins Center's upper Jewett exhibition corridor was the scene of John Sheldon's photographic exhibit early this fall. This collection featured scenes from New Hampshire and Vermont, specifically natural beauty and man's contribution and impact upon this landscape. Houses, barns, farm equipment, and scenic views are the subjects of his work. Since 1974, John has worked as a professsional photographer involved with all aspects of commercial photography.

Charles Nabritt is with Connecticut General Life Insurance Company. He is very pleased with the addition of twins to his family in May. His wife, in addition to childbearing above and certainly beyond the call of duty, was reported to be finishing her third year of law school.

Academic laurels go to Tom Foster who received a Ph.D. in English and modern literature. Tom's thesis involved the works of Eliot, Joyce, and Faulkner. He and his wife are the proud parents of a son, Robby.

Bill Carpenter is working for the Tylenol Division of Johnson and Johnson as a product director. Bill reports he is "all mortgaged up on the car and house with an ail-American family of four" and living just outside Philadelphia They have two sons, Kiely and Joey.

Mike Fonner finished a six-month stint with the Peace Corps in the Phillipines and is now back in the U.S. looking for a call to a pulpit. Mike received his graduate degree in theology from Harvard University. Another report notes that Chip Gedney married Sue Williams (Ithaca College '77) last December and that they are expecting a baby this fall. No comments about wasted time here! Chip works for Kenyon Advertising.

Jim Craig is the district manager for the northeastern U.S. for Hess Oil in Woodbridge, N.J. He is the father of a three-year-old son and a two-year-old daughter and, according to this news collected in June, had another child on the way.

Scott Lewellen is a trainee in commercial lending with Bankers Trust of Western New York. Prior to this position, Scott had been a teacher for five years.

Jim McVay now lives in Charlottesville, Va., and sells real estate. He is an active member of the Dartmouth Club of Central Virginia and was recently elected to the club's board.

Brookline, Mass., is home to Jay Conger who is starting the M.B.A. program at Harvard Business School. Jay had worked for the Solarax Corporation, a solar-cell manufacturer. Greg Hannah is "hanging loose in Detroit" where he is a business analyst for Gulf and Western. Ralph Hampton is pursuing an M.B.A. in marketing at Rutgers University. To date, I have received no entries in the

"What I Did on My Summer Vacation" contest. Accordingly, in a (very) slightly less subtle manner, I enter a plea for news!

Next month, a class of '74 Christmas story.
