VOX of Dartmouth, the College's newest official publication, features news of forthcoming events on the campus. It replaces the former Dartmouth Events Calendar and, with its newspaper format, allows fuller coverage of many College activities. Written, edited, and typeset on a Dartmouth Avatar terminal, VOX began publication in April and has appeared bi-weekly through the summer term. As of September, it will be published every week during the term.
Lectures, concerts, plays, and meetings are listed in the "Calendar" section, and the back page is a dense-pack of information about exhibitions, schedules, lectures, sports, and various deadlines. VOX also contains regular feature articles highlighting conferences, distinguished visitors to the College, faculty honors and awards, and similar topics.
While the weekly paper is aimed at the on-campus population of students, faculty, and employees, editor Florence Fogelin pointed out that subscriptions are also available to alumni and members of the community. A year's subscription costs $8 for 3rd class delivery, $16 for Ist class. Checks should be sent to VOX of Dartmouth, Centurion Building, 3 Lebanon St., Hanover, NH 03755. Please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery to begin.
