Rollie and Edna Taylor stopped off in Providence for lunch on their way back from Cape Cod to their home in West Hartford. They reported a lunch on the Cape with Dana and Gretchen Bent. As to all of you who saw Dana at reunion, you will remember he has recovered marvelously from his serious illness of a year and a half ago. The Taylors also had lunch with Brad Stafford while on the Cape. What a job Rollie did as head class agent in setting the all-time 60th reunion mark for the Alumni Fund. Only a long-time realtor could possibly have had the persistence and devoted the direct personal attention to bring about our great result.

While in the process of bragging about a great class, we commend to any youngsters (class of 1925 and later) an excerpt of a letter from Ned Mansure to Robin Robinson, quoted more extensively in the "24 Hour Notice." "Still at my 120 push-ups every morning. Forty calisthenics in between." Of course, not everybody in the class is up to this, but let's dream and assume it's typical.

This is written just prior to our mini-reunion with headquarters at the Norwich Inn September 21-23, the Penn game. Our sympathy to all of you who find out much too late that you didn't make it.

On a sadder note, we do have two more deaths to report. Robbie Robinson, of Manchester, Vt., and Steve Cross, of Madison, Conn. Obituaries will appear in this or a later issue.
