As reported last month, my marriage to Betty Jeffers took place on January 21. We spent most of the intervening time getting to know our combined descendents 21 in all, not counting in-laws. This has left little chance to elicit information from classmates.

We were, however, guests of Dick andPauline Morin at an excellent concert by the Tucson Symphony Orchestra. We were sorry that we did not have a chance to drive down to Green Valley and see the '24 contingent there while we were in Arizona.

Chinee Allen comes through with the news that on January 23 the temperature at Hanover was 26 below, that the Carnival snow statue was under construction, and that the skiing had been good.

Courtesy of Stan Chittick we have word from Hobey Holbrick that he can't make the 60th but will be with us in spirit. A note from Nat Ryder to Stan tells us of three weeks in London visiting his son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter. He spotted two highway signs on the same pole, one giving the mileage to Wheaton and the other to Wheatley. He suggests that he should have added to each of them "1924?"

Your primary source of information about the big 60th reunion will be Dick Morin, and I don't want to steal his thunder, but from my talk with him, supplemented by information from Chinee, I gather all systems are go. It will be more than well worth your while to make the special effort to attend. Rollie Taylor is going all out to get the 60th reunion Alumni Fund to an appropriate level. To help him out, we must each not only think deeply but dig deeply.

See you on June 11-13.
