Pete Diemand has been named the president of the International Division of the Mennan Company. This is the latest step in a long and successful career in consumer products. Prior to this move, Pete was head of the Jacklyn Cochran division of Shultan.

Art Johnson has rejoined Wells Fargo as vice president and manager of the plan advisory service of Business Trust and Investment Services in San Francisco. This involves offering investment and pension fund service to middle sized corporations throughout California. In the previous two and a half years he had worked for a competitor, Crocker Bank, as vice president of marketing for the bank's Investment Management Corporation.

Sherm Mills has left Sermatech and his responsibilities as manager of engineering to become project engineer in the Fiber Optics Division of MCI. All this activity follows a 22year career in the U.S.Army Corps of Engineers and assignments throughout the world including Germany, Vietnam, and Saudi Arabia. Recently Sherm ran into DonSwift, who is a research geologist with Arco and living in sunny Richardson, Tex.

Sara Donahoe writes that son John, Dartmouth class of '82, has married Eileen Chamberlain, an older woman who is Dartmouth class of '81. The Donahoes have a very deep Dartmouth connection that includes not only all of husband Tom Donahoe's spectacular activities on behalf of Tuck and the College but also Sara's father, A1 Dodd, Dartmouth class of '35. Sara notes that since graduation Tom has had only one employer Price Waterhouse. Maybe our ace headhunted T.Schwarz, could change that!

John Plunkett has just married Diana Luce Pollack. This is the second marriage for both John and Diana. Diana is a business lady who owns Precious Jewelry by Diana Pollack Inc., a jewelry designing and retail concern in Rye, N.Y. She is a graduate of Brimmer and May School in Chestnut Hill, Mass., and the University of Vermont. In addition to Deerfield and Dartmouth, John has an M.B. A.from the University of Michigan. He is a partner in Thorson, Brown, and Plunkett investment counselors in Greenwich, Conn.

John Plunkett's college roommate, JoelMitchell, and wife Dee Dee are living in Rye Brook, N.Y. Joel is in a partnership with a Bayside/Long Island sales consultant. Most of their clients are in the Boston, New Jersey, and Long Island high-technology corridors.

Herb Roskind has spent an active 1984 as a Democratic party committeeman. He and his wife, Laura, led a campaign to nominate John King to the Senate. Laura, incidentally, was an early Geraldine Ferraro watcher and was delighted with her candidacy. Their 17 year old daughter, Karen, has been a page in the U.S. Senate and was nominated by Teddy Kennedy.
