Dennis Kehoe writes that he is teaching in the classics department at Tulane University. Last August he married Lora Holland, who is also a Latin teacher.

Also down in New Orleans at Tulane is Don Gaylord. Don is in his fourth and final year of classes in graduate school. His doctoral exams, subject matter unbeknownst to this writer, are to be taken in the fall. Don plans to join Susan Richey in "connubibal bliss" (Archie Bunker) in the spring of 1985, when he returns from dissertation research in Brazil. As for Rio de Janeiro, Don envisions: "sand, surf, samba, and . . . scholarship."

Karen Warner has graduated from a family practice residency program and has opened a solo practice in Durham, Conn. Durham is a rural town of 5,000. According to Karen her practice is doing well now.

Notice has been received of Wayne Geyer's impending marriage to Wendy Sheard. Wendy works with Cornerstone Development, an urban redevelopment subsidiary of the Weyerhaeuser Company in Seattle. Wayne has a master's degree in oceanography from the University of Washington and is currently working on his doctorate.

Janet Kluczynski sent a short note saying that she has escaped from Bob Overhiser's hometown of Philadelphia. She has a new job with IBM in Boston.

Extolling the virtues of higher education, Charlie Hoffmann writes, "All is well in N.Y.C. these days. Back in the working world after two years on the Plain at Tuck acquiring a graduate education and a $35,000 negative net worth. Now trying to work that off at Goldman Sachs by stealing business from Eric Edmondson over at Lehman Brothers."

Mark and Terri Pheanis are firmly entrenched in a newly-acquired house in Geneva, Wise. They spend their free time working on the house and watching Sean Michael, eight months, and Erin Kristine, two and a half years old, spring into adulthood. Terri teaches Lamaze classes and works in a local hospital, while Mark is a jock. In the winter it is hockey and basketball. This spring it has been baseball. According to Terri, football will dutifully follow. On certain occasions Mark has also been observed as an employee in a law firm in Wheaton, 111. Terri also writes that they often speak with Rob Sholl, who lives in WauwautOsa, Wise. Tom and BeckyHer.nek, frequent travelers for business and pleasure, recently stopped in Geneva to visit the Pheanis clan.

Some of our class officers are better correspondents than others. Assistant class treasurer Kevin Case writes that he and Anne are pulling up stakes and moving to Santa Rosa, Calif. Kevin will become the manager of a lumber yard for Boise Cascade. The Cases have spent the past two and a half years in Madera, Calif. A special note of thanks goes to them for passing on information to this bustling office.

Our class agent, Drew Kintzinger and his better half, Megan, are moving into a home near good old Lake Nokomis here in south Minneapolis. They will certainly contribute to the quality of jogging which goes on in this area. Richie Bane hasn't written. He remains as elusive as ever. By the way, Richie is the Class president.

That is all the news that can be passed on to you to savor over the summer months. See you in the fall?
