Got any great Dartmouth stories?

At a recent Alumni Council meeting, Frank Kappler> Eddie Chamberlain, and Art Toan'36ers all—got to telling me about the origins of "Dartmouth Undying." It was a story I had never heard before, but one that every Dartmouth man and woman, I thought, would like to know. It will appear in the fall.

Eddie Chamberlain's delightful memoir (opposite) of John Stearns 'l6 inaugurates this new feature with this Commencement issue. Sounds of firecrackers, rockets, and other such missiles wil have to be supplied by the reader.
