Some 15,000 people are expected to watch the Dartmouth-Princeton football game on September 21 from seats in Memorial Field, while another 2,000 or more will watch via satellite at more than 30 locations from Sarasota, Fla., to Anchorage, Alaska, and at many locations in between. It's the biggest undertaking of its kind in the history of Dartmouth or Princeton alumni affairs.

The actual locations where the game will be viewed "live" are as varied as the cities. In Denver, alumni of the two schools will gather at ATC cable stations; in two cities, Winter Park and Phoenix, fans will watch from a Cinema Draft House; and in Anchorage they'll gather in the boardroom of the Alaska National Bank. Special programs and halftime shows are being put together for the viewing audiences.

Participating cities include: Anchorage; Atlanta; Baltimore; Charlotte; Chicago; Cleveland; Dallas; Denver; Des Moines; Detroit; Greensboro; Houston; Kansas City; Knoxville; Los Angeles; Louisville; Memphis; Minneapolis; Nashville; New Orleans; Omaha; Palm Beach; Phoenix; San Antonio; San Francisco; Sarasota; Savannah/Charleston; Seattle; Toronto; Tulsa; Vero Beach; Wilmington; and Winter Park/Orlando.

Clubs in these cities will be sending out mailings later this summer to confirm time, place, price, etc. There is still room on the network for more clubs, and anyone still wanting to participate should contact David E. Orr, associate secretary of the alumni: 304 Blunt Alumni Center, Hanover, NH 03755 or 603/646-2647.

"Dartmouth in Hollywood" A film tribute to alumni who have contributed to the film industry will be shown in three locations this fall. In Hanover, it will be shown in Loew Theater of the Hood Museum on September 28 and in Spaulding Auditorium on September 29. October 1 the film moves to the Vivian Beaumont Theater in Lincoln Center in New York City; on October 5 it will be shown at MGM Studios in Los Angeles. Details will be announced later.
