"I am a Bear of Very Little Brain, and long words Bother me." A. A. Milne says it best on to the news. Oh pooh. Chuck Ennis headlines the info in TheBoston Herald, looking dashing in a photo (clad in Chippendalesque bow tie only). Dancing for a living is treating him well, apparently. Miriam Ricketts is teaching in her hometown of Finksburg, Md., while pursuing an M.B.A. from Johns Hopkins. New homeowners Eric Leventhal in Massachusetts and Beth Runckle and BenMackey in Jessup, Md., are busy renovating and sanding. Perhaps, if jealousy can be noted here, they are also fighting over wallpaper and where to put that flowered couch. Domesticity seems to suit '83s.

Deb Cohen is at Stanford Business School, back from Switzerland, and mentions seeing Alfredo Riefkohl and C.C.Ginsberg although there are legions of other '83s in the area. Still riding a pink Schwinn, Deb? Dave Grubman is now in New York with Casher Associates, having moved from Boston. Beth Hovey is studying at Columbia's graduate program in history it was great to get in touch again. Karen O'Neill has made a move to Westport, Conn., from Vermont, working in the consulting branch of a marketing company. Evelyn Kragh sends news from her master's program in counseling from the University of Kentucky, where she also works as a career advisor. She sent news of the life of Geoff Apthorp as well. Ces Heisser is also involved with education "To teach is to learn twice" at Pomona College in California.

The Heorot crew of '83s was recently convened in Boston to see Carey Wilson of the Calgary Flames play the Bruins. Dan Goggin, Nick Thomey, ShawnBorgeson, Nick Roberts, Paul Wilkins,Bob Flanigan and Paul Anderson were wildly in attendance.

You just received an '"83 Echoes" newsletter, where many were mentioned and more were ragged upon. (Ray Patterson, do you need to be mentioned here as well?) The current order of the day is to consider convening in Hanover for Green Key Weekend! This is your last chance to be on campus while still knowing a small percentage of the undergraduate population as the class of 1986 were freshmen when we graduated, With Dartmouth in the news as much as it has been recently, it is probably a good idea to get back in touch with old friends and old traditions while attempting to Understand newer issues and experiences.

It is better to know some of the questions than all of the answers.
