In response to the class birthday card Boband Stephanie Hodgdon said life in Taunton, Mass., was quiet—tending garden and lawns, active in church work, and playing lots of bridge. For a change from this they visit their daughter, son-in-law, and three grandsons in Greenwich, Conn.

Ed and Marjorie Farnum, Dover, Mass., keep track of six grandchildren. Their daughter's older son (summa cum laude at Princeton and M.D. at University of Virginia Medical School,) practices in San Antonio, Tex. Her younger son (Phi Beta Kappa at William and Mary College and J.D. at Marshall-Wyeth Law School there,) practices in Washington, D.C. The four children of Ed and Marjorie's son range from two to nine years, the oldest boy being a consistent Little League hitter.

Larry and Jean Kennison, Westport, Mass., took off on an American Express tour of Spain in late September, which made it possible for local bridge players to win a few rubbers while the experts were away. Larry noted that the dormitory pictured in the '2os on the class birthday card looked like South Fayerweather, and that the buyer of "sweet cidah" might have been Kier Boyd. A while back Oppy Opdyke had similar thoughts. Are there any other possibilities?

Recently we learned that Chuck Hornburg has been six years in a California nursing home with Alzheimer's disease. Physically he is in excellent condition and looks fine, and celebrated his 85th birthday. His wife, Gwenn, continues to be involved in their Los Angeles distributorship of Jaguar cars—a business which Chuck brought into the United States in 1945.

Clary Taylor writes that he and Betty had enjoyed 15 years summering in Newport, R. I., seven cruises, and special trips to Hawaii and Alaska, but now stay close to home in Clearwater, Fla., because of health reasons. Even though Clary has hearing and vision problems he still enjoys weekly Rotary Club meetings and monthly meetings of Retired Officers Association, Military Order of World Wars, Sons of American Revolution, and American Legion. He was a past president or commander of each of these.
