There is not much news from the 17 living members of the class. Word has been received that George P. Forbes passed away on January 28th. I received a nice letter from Rufe Sisson's widow, Dorothy, of Northport, MI 49670, which now follows. "Dartmouth Class of 1914: I am the widow of Rufus Sisson and always enjoyed hearing about anyone left in the Class of '14. I am located in Northport, Mich., and have found it a most delightful place for me to live. And now, at the age of 91 years, I have many fine memories of Rufus's classmates of Dartmouth 1914 and their wives."
Northern New England is having a real New England winter for a change. The month of January gave us 44" of snow! It won't be long before maple syrup season will be upon us and that will keep us busy for about six weeks if the weather works with us or for us. We need below freezing nights and above freezing days for sap to run. Remember?
Drop me a note so we can keep the 1914 column going. Thanks.
