The mailbag was particularly wimpy this time around, but utilizing my trustworthy sources, I was again able to sleuth some noteworthy information on fellow classmates. First comes news that DavidFisette has been elected a partner in the law firm of Warner & Stackpole, Boston. David has fairly extensive experience, having joined Warner & Stackpole in 1983 from Kirkland & Ellis of Chicago. He received his J.D. from BU Law in 1978 and an LL.M. in taxation from BU in 1981. David concentrates in probate, estate planning and individual taxation. With his wife, Karyn, and daughter, Allison, he lives in West Newbury.

I am not altogether sure how this one slipped by, but belatedly I have discovered the marriage of Rob Traver to Lesley Milne in Winthrop, Mass., in September last year. I particularly remember Rob for the cheap shots he and I took at each other on the soccer field freshman year. Lesley, be warned: the man has a real bad flying wedge kick about shin high. Well, maybe he won't have need to use it on you. Ushers in the ceremony included our own Nick Hunt and Charles Cornish.

Last but not least, the ubiquitous one, Jeff Sassorossi, found me again. The man always has news. This time about himself. Good news for us. Jeff will be returning to the plains of Hanover as associate director of the Alumni Fund. After years of trying to convince me that he was really working hard, he will return to make sure that classes like our meet quotas during the fund drive. I am sure there is more to it than that, but my guess is that this will be the most satisfying part of his job. Watch out, Cahill, Sassorossi is tough in the trenches. On that note, let's not let Jeff embarrass Bill. Get those bucks out and send them to Hanover. I mean it this time!
