Spring has finally sprung. In keeping with the season, I recently received a letter from John Lundgren, former captain of the golf team at Dartmouth when we were undergraduates. John is currently living in Southern Connecticut and is Director of Strategic Planning for the James River Corporation.

Other news from the world of corporations and finance is that David Leuschen was recently named a partner at Goldman, Sachs & Company. Another classmate, Craig Colberg, has also been working with Goldman, Sachs in London, England.

Bob Bloomfield has been making his name in the world of medicine as well as music. His career in the field of medicine has been previously chronicled in this column. However, he is also a guitarist with the "Red Herring Trio" in North Carolina. Bob recently sent me a copy of the lyrics of a song he wrote, "We owe the World." Obviously, it is a parody of another song. To quote the Winston-Salem Journal, "if you prefer parody to purity, then go hear Red Herring." It sounds like Bob is having a lot of fun.

Bob Glovsky and his wife recently celebrated the birth of their second son, Michael William Glovsky. Michael was born on March 23, 1987, and he joins David Newman Glovsky, who was born on October 20, 1985. Bob Sr. reports that "Michael is enrolled in the Class of 2009 while David is enrolled in the Class of 2007." Bob and his wife, Susan, are living in Newton, Mass., and he is currently the head of a new venture entitled, Glovsky Financial, Inc. Bob has a law degree from Boston University and is a financial planner in the Boston area. He writes regular columns for the Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. In addition, he does job development work for Dartmouth and serves as vice president of the Dartmouth Alumni Association of Eastern Massachusetts.

That's it for now. Please remember the Alumni Fund, and I will be reporting again next month.
