Joe McCormick writes "in late March my wife, Eileen, and I attended the two-day Dartmouth Sunshine" Conference in Orlando, Fla. General subject: Business Ethics.

"With Rollins College as the location host, speakers and moderators were President Thad Seymour ('49A), Dean John Hennessy of Tuck School, a Dartmouth student representative, Professor of Religion Ron Green, and the Dartmouth Glee Club. Excellent turnout. Had fine visits with other 42s: Dick Maxwell, Huntley Allison, JohnTiemail, and their spouses. Very worthwhile meeting,"

Classmates will be relieved to know that the 1942 executive committee met as scheduled on Class Officers Weekend. In attendance were the familiar doers in the class including Messrs. Caproni, Dingwall,Encherman, Fanelli, Farr, Kirk, Rugen your secretary, Swenson, Weinburg, and Winship. Treasurer Caproni reported the class solvent to the tune of $4,000-plus in the kitty.

Swenson's report on bequests and trusts shows that funds are flowing that way. The Jack Tobin and Phil Gordon scholarship funds are still gaining ground and new and additional life income gifts are also gamine impressively.

Charlie Weinburg is doing yeoman work as head class agent to get us, as a class, up to where we ought to be. Ad Winship, as might be expected, is laboring arduously in the same area for our 45th. This reunion, don't forget, it's scheduled for June 13-15 1988, our 46th year out! Bob not content with the trials and tribulations of being newsletter editor, is in charge of our 45th and has some great ideas.

Allan Dingwall reminded us that next fall's mini-reunion is set for Dartmouth Night Weekend, October 30-31. Dinner, Friday the 30th, will be at the DOC house on Occom Pond. Remember, this is now BYOB. Next day will be the Yale game and we have a spot all set for pre-game celebration. Saturday night it will be dinner at the Norwich Inn with a cash bar. More on this later, but please note the dates now. A nominating committee was charged with providing a new slate of officers for the class to approve or disapprove. If any of you hanker to work for the class let me know and your name will get immediately on the list. A statistical note: The class of 1942 has 410 living graduates, 503 living members, and 155 who haven't made it this far.
