The '92s are now on campus, and I have 14 of them as freshmen advisees this year—can you believe it's been FIFTEEN years since we arrived? We're ancient history for this crew. Al, Kaethe, Scott, and I had fun greeting one "shift" of freshmen as they arrived at Moosilauke Ravine Lodge after completing their freshmen trips.

Drew Kintzinger, our trusty class pres, called in September to find out about Class Notes deadlines in hopes of cooking up a mini-reunion this fall. He had recently talked with Mark Collins, who is working out of his home in NYC until January. Drew also mentioned having recently tried to reach our class newsletter editor, AmyCammann Ch'olnoky, but was informed by her husband John 'BO that she was taking a nap, resting up in preparation for hosting 50 guests to a "Dartmouth Triathlon." All Drew could remember about John's definition of this event was that it involved a round of beer pong and then a round of croquet (I think he must have repressed the rest). What a diverse class we are. Drew is doing fine in Minneapolis, having "made partner" in his law firm in July; he and his wife, Meghan, are expecting #2 in late fall. He also mentioned that Rick Bruno, living in Syracuse, N.Y., has formed his own law firm and has a new baby daughter.

More babies. Kim Rosenau York sent a birth announcement from her home in Mercer Island, Wash., for her daughter Casey Elizabeth, born July 27. She and Bruce '76 now have two children; Ben turns two in early October. Kim also noted that Gary Clohan and his family had recently visited, and Gary also has a fairly new baby Mitchell Alexander was born in the late spring, joining his older brother Daly who turned three in October. Also passing through Seattle this summer was RockyGeyer, there on a consulting job. He is still a research scientist at Woods Hole.

One nice thing about taking pictures at weddings of classmates those who take them feel compelled to send them along to the class secretary, and inevitably include a few tidbits along the way. In this case, both Treff LaFleche, whose wife, Melinda Brown, was the photographer with three different cameras, and Evy Chan sent copies of the group photo of Dartmouth alums. In addition, both reported that Doug Morgan married Lynn Ridge of Sophia, N.C., on June 25. Evy recounted Jon Bagger's tale of how he and his wife of one week, Debbie Dunham, camped out on the beach while in North Carolina for that wedding and "spent the whole night trying to hold down their tent'no wonder the Wright brothers chose that site' for their endeavors!" Evy noted that Andy Repasy, a doctor at Northwestern University Memorial Hospital, made it on the local news in July when he was interviewed for "the effect that the recent hot' weather has had on the elderly." She also mentioned having seen Marian McClure Cartwright when Marian attended one of Evy's recitals at Lake Forest College in late March. Marian and Gene '76 now have three sons; we can remember back to when little Gene was first born in California he must be seven or so by now.

In the third-hand news department, The New York Times reported in June that Diana Taylor had recently joined a new minority and women-owned municipal securities firm, M. R. Beal & Company, as a partner. The firm, with offices in New York and Chicago, plans to serve clients as managers, placement agents, mortgage bankers, and financial advisors, and had already been retained to complete some municipal financings.

That's it for this month hope it brings a very happy Thanksgiving and much for which to be thankful to you and yours.
