This month's mail brought news that Bill Bogardus has received an award from the College. As you know Bill chaired the Alumni Fund for our class before assuming the class presidency. The College has recognized Bill with a chairman's citation "recognizing his dedication and hard work on behalf of the 1988 Alumni Fund." Congratulations to Bill and to all of the class who supported his work.
The executive committee met in Hanover on the weekend of the Harvard game (a great victory!). On the agenda were the first plans for the 25 th Reunion. After the success of the 20th, we are out to top even that. Part of the planning involves a major yearbook publication (noted in Jeff Zimmerman's commentary on this year's dues charge). There will be lots of work to do on all aspects of the reunion, so if you want to volunteer to help, let Bill Bogardus know.
Some news from the career front presents a real geography lesson. Sandy Campbell writes that since College he taught at Amherst (N.Y.) High School, the Colorado Rocky Mountain School, and Hampshire College. He attended Dartmouth Medical School and studied orthopedics at Harvard before working in Boston and northern Maine. Sandy has now been practicing in Savannah, Ga., for four years.
Dave Traber divides his time in Los Angeles between single parenting and his consulting firm. Dave specializes in fundraising for non-profit agencies, and he is developing a volunteer action foundation program to assist small organizations that otherwise have trouble competing for philanthropic support. Also in northern California is Bob Sanner. The Sanners and their three sons reside in Palo Alto and Bob specializes in commercial real estate in San Francisco. Finally, Bill Heep is now vice president for marketing management with the New York firm of Judd-Fisher. They specialize in executive recruiting of middle to senior-level management for marketing and advertising concerns.
Keep the mail coming.
