To carry on the work of Rick Rickenbaugh, who died on October 18 of heart failure at his home in Denver, the executive committee elected Gwynne "Curly" Prosser as president. At that time Larry Martin was elected vice president, and John Phillips assistant secretary.

John and I had three telephone conferences at the end of October planning the format of our 60th Reunion directory. I was shocked to receive a call from Peggy a week later that John had suffered a stroke in Montclair, and was being transferred from the hospital to the Kessler Institute in West Orange for therapy treatment. Peggy expected John to be home for Christmas and I'm sure he'd be glad to receive notes ad- dressed to: 2 Princeton Place, Montclair, NJ 07043.

At the parade around the campus on Dartmouth Night, October 30, cars for the older alumni included Flanders, Holbrook, Prosser, Sensenig, and Tidd.

Win Taylor told me that his granddaughter graduated from Rutgers and went on to distinguish herself at the Harvard Law School. She is now with Haight, Gardner, Poor and Havens, a New York City law firm.

"G.I." Davis writes from Naples that Billand Barbara Morton were their guests at a nearby inn. As he settled up the account the manager said the whole dining room enjoyed their discussion and two people asked for the address of the college they were talking about. They wanted to send their grandchildren there!

Van and Dorothy Curll just sold their condo in Laguna Niguel, Calif., and from now on will have only one address—1361 Ferry Road, Grants Pass, OR 97526—which they call their "old Oregon ranch."
