Don Briggs, once the pride of Monroe High School in Rochester, N.Y., is a happy man these days, in February, 1987, he ended 36 years of robust service to Eastman Kodak Company, by retiring to such pursuits as suit his fancy. A specialist in recruitment in professional personnel for Eastman Kodak, Don invested most of his career in personnel resources. Now, wife Joan and he travel to Hawaii at least once a year, while "playing all the time" in Rochester. There are three children of this union, son Bradford and daughters Becky-Jane and Victoria. All are married and Don and Joan have three grandchildren.

Louie Buie, who grew up in Rochester, Minn., where his father was a pioneer pacesetter in proctology, has lived for years in Edina, Minn., with wife Joan, practicing general surgical medicine in Minneapolis. Presently, Louie practices with a surgical group of seven physicians and enjoys conversing with Dr. Jack Hartwig on an almost daily basis. Meanwhile, Louie's five children engage in pursuits of varied nature: the eldest, Brad, married and father of one son, is a general contractor in Minneapolis; Steve is the computer programmer; Marsha is married to a Lutheran minister and has two daughters; Paula, a superlative athlete who excelled in soccer and softball, coaches various sports in a Minneapolis high school; and Tom is working as a legal assistant to an insurance defense firm in Puerto Rico. A consistent golfer, Louie proclaims with pride an 8 handicap, which can be verified by Jack Hartwig, but his joy the last several years has been singing with Joan in a choral group known as the Bach Society of Minnesota. Among other accomplishments, Louie sings every summer at a choral camp in the Berkshire Mountains, the Berkshire Institute.

Speaking of athletes, let's admire BillMcCabe, the old Kappa Sigma flash, who still plays Softball four times a week in Anaheim, Calif., and also plays golf and skis. Real estate has been Bill's career almost since graduation and, residing with wife Susan in Anaheim since 1954, Bill develops acreage for new houses with an entity entitled Builders Sales Corp., in Santa Ana. They have three children: William III '73; Polly, a graduate of the College of Idaho; and Mike, a graduate of Orange Coast College, who resides with Bill and Susan and engages in general contracting. There are three grandchildren.

Otto "Pete" Schumacher practices medicine in Cleveland, and resides with wife Margaret in Cleveland Heights. Margaret and Pete have three children: Cynthia, a 1975 Oberlin College graduate; Elizabeth, a 1978 graduate of Case Western Reserve; and Donna, a 1979 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. In 1957, Otto obtained a doctorate from the University of Minnesota, supplementing his medical doctor degree, and was recognized last year by the American Diabetes Association as Outstanding Clinician in the Field of Diabetes. He chairs the department of endocrinology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and served as president of the Ohio Diabetes Association in 1987. He is also a product of the Dartmouth Medical School, '50.
