One of the unfortunate facts of life around here is the lack of news. Most of the items you are used to seeing in this space are generated by making calls and otherwise badgering a number of our classmates. Herein lies the rub I apologize, but I've been busy helping my fledgling oil company drill some very expensive holes in the ground lately, and the time allotted to keeping up with my sources has diminished. So, now that the holidays are over, please take the time to write meanwhile here's a little news for the New Year:

Larry Bagley is still single and in New York, selling mainframe computers for Digital. Larry reports that Bob Leeber is a fellow resident of his apartment building. Dave Konker is stil headhunting with Reynolds and Associates here in Dallas, and reports that John DeRegt is still with Reynolds in New York and recently attended the Paris Air Show. Steve Shirey is still with the Department of Terrestrial Magnetism at the Smithsonian in Washington. Mark Josephson is still a computer/electronics entrepreneur in New York and reports that Tim Ball is now one of the Big Apple's skinniest lawyers.

Joel Reader was recently named managing director for the West Coast investment banking office of Oppenheimer and Company in Los Angeles. Joel moved to Oppenheimer after spending 12 years with L.F. Rothschild, ana he specializes in the leisure and entertainment industries. Joel recently married and acquired an instant family, complete with step-grandchildren.
