Don't forget our mini-reunion in Hanover on October 26-28, the Harvard game weekend.
After weekend, sentence should start with, "A major thanks to Dick Masterson and his wife, Juliana for the terrific job they did as secretary for the past six years. I approach this, my second column realizing the seemingly endless deadlines with minimal information that confront this job. Please send in your notes!!!

Celtics, NBA, and Gavitt a combination that could really form a major Boston dynasty. Dave Gavitt was named head of basketball operations for the Celtics and will have total control of the day-to-day operations. The team's owners report that "Dave had most recently been commissioner of the big east conference and... has turned it into one of the most powerful conferences in this country."
Walt Taylor writes from Flagstaff, Ariz., where he and Nancy are "fine, still enjoying the mountains and surrounding country here in the Southwest. All three kids are out of the nest—Mary got an M.S. in environmental studies at Yale and will work for the U.S. Forest Service in Washington, D.C.; Ann is ready for her last year at the Cleveland Institute of Art as a fiber major; and John finished his freshman year at Yale. We enjoyed a mini-reunion with Mary and Kent Skibbie this Spring."
From Grantham, N.H., Mel Swenson writes, "Barbara and I had a son on November 26, 1989. We divide our time between Eastman, near Hanover, and New York, where I recently saw Dick Press. I am consulting with building owners and developers on the selection, purchase, and production of marble, granite, and other natural stones, with projects in England, Germany, and the U.S."
Gary Stiff writes, "My daughter Katie is a member of the class of* '93 at Dartmouth. My wife Carol and I continue to publish our weekly newspaper in Idaho Springs, Colo. We wanted to come to the 30th, but in our business it's hard to get away."
Finally, a note from my ex-roommate, Dr. Rodger Agre, who moved to Reno, Nev., and advises "we love it out here. We were in Hanover in June for my son Ross's graduation but unfortunately weren't able to stay for Reunion. I plan to stay active in alumni interviewing. I joined a three-man psychiatric practice here. We are now enjoying skiing in the Sierras and summers at Lake Tahoe."
Looking forward to hearing from the rest of you.
