Larry and Jean Kennison, Westport, Mass., journeyed on July 28 to Oregon for the wedding of their grandson, a graduate of Vassar College. This interested your scribe because shortly after that his own grandson, Hans Norstrand, entered Vassar College as a freshman so now Larry and Don are kindred Vassar grandfathers.

Except for a short fall visit, Don and Lou Norstrand, Needham, Mass., were not "Down Maine" in 1990 Friendship being an annual vacation place for Lou since her childhood. Being at North Hill, a lifetime retirement facility, was most helpful during five months of medical care for Lou, who is now steadily improving.
