Every month or so these poetically written class notes give you the chance I to track the gossip-worthy 'activities of your classmates. But why rely on the printed word for such critical news? Soon you will have an opportunity to see for yourself who has grown a pot belly, developed wrinkles, or lost hair. The Class of 1986 Reunion will be held June 14-16.

A fun reunion doesn't materialize out of nowhere. Beth Reilly (617/227-3781) and John Marchioni (201/744-8064) are the masters of ceremonies, but they could use your help to make the reunion a blast. Please contact them. Also, dig that little green response card out of the pile on your desk and send it in. By now you probably have a stockpile of assorted little green cards which you use for notepaper and coasters. Rescue the reunion response card from this miserble fate and let it rejoice in fulfiling its intended mission.

If you live in Massachusetts and are considering a bank heist or similar sinister activity, now is the time to do the job. For the next nine months Beth Reilly will be employed in the engineering department of the commonwealth's correctional facilities, so even if you are arrested, there is no reason to sweat during your trial. Just have your lawyer inform Beth where you are imprisoned, and she will take care of the rest. Being a loyal member of the class, she will no doubt provide a copy of the prison blueprints to some of your '86 pals, and they will bust you out in time for reunion. Beth will retire next summer from her job in human resources in order to enroll in the University of Michigan School of Business.

Thomas Carhart married Lisa Whittington in April. The two met on a blind date at Wellesley during Tom's junior year. He works for Cincinatti Electronics, and she works for Proctor and Gamble.

As the economy continues to sputter you might want to liquidate some heirlooms in order to pay your class dues. Surely that class of '86 jersey must be worth a small fortune, right? Liz Babb Sanlow could help you get top dollar for such treasures at Christie's, where she works in business planning. In May she married Nino Sanlow, a former colleague of hers at First Boston who now works for Australian Capital Equity. The wedding sounds like it was a practice reunion prior to the grand event. She sends word about the following folks:

Jessica Kohn served as maid of honor. She works in NYC for Bechtel Park Tower, a real estate developer. Karin Bravin and Suzanne Virnelli Grevelink were bridesmaids. No doubt Suzanne was paying close attention to critical details like flower arrangements and cake decorations so that her own June wedding would be perfect. She and her new husband cure the ill in Arlington, Mass. Contact Karin if you want to spend some of the riches from your jersey sale to redecorate your pad —She can get you a bargain on a painting at Lang & O'Hara Gallery of Soho, where she is curator. Alicia Macri is doing double duty as a banker and student. By day she works in private banking for Manufacturers Hanover; by night she studies business at Columbia. Lynne Ten Hoopen works for an advertising agency in Playa del Rey, Calif. Pat Donovan recently graduated from law school and is now using his expertise to defend justice in New Hampshire, where he works for the state supreme court. Hopefully he will be able to get some of us out of jail after things get out of control at the reunion. Nancy Stein buys women's blouses for Lord & Taylor. She is engaged to be married to a non-Dartmouth fellow in March 1991. (It's a shame that there aren't enough of us to go around ... oh well, at least her brother is cool.) Finally, Beth Costman is studying architecture at Syracuse. Currently she is checking out buildings in Florence.
