Classmates and 1922 ladies will appreciate the following as received and acknowledged by JackDodd: "Dear Mr. Dodd, I am a freshman at Dartmouth and am honored to have been chosen as a recipient of a Class of 1922 Scholarship. As we move toward the close of my second term, I find myself sorry to see it go, although I am looking forward to the spring. I am now in the process of planning my next three years, ana trying to fit the required premed courses into a convoluted enrollment plan. I am considering a major in anthropology possibly modified with classics ... I am a member of the freshman light-weight crew, and you will be happy to know that we had a highly successful fall season, coming in first in our races. We are all looking forward to getting back on the water this spring, and starting our racing season again. Please extend my thanks to the class of 1922. I will do my best to do justice to this distinction. Best wishes from Hanover, Sincerely ..."
