Glory to God in the Highest and on earth Peace and Good Will (Luke 2:14) In a world like this how can there be, Yes, Hope or any jollity? Christmas means Peace, and Peace, Good-will, Yes, if we're ready for the bill. And, pray, tell me what can that be? Yes, learn to smile when disagree; Good-will must fill just every heart Each one of us can fill a part... Things better now than we believed? This Christmas leaves us much relieved... Heard somewhere s'pose it was Moses? 'Mongst those thorns, God puts those roses. Merry Christmas God loves you and so do I, Dick "I rejoice in our precious 1922 fellowship. R.F.B."
How different the world might be if humans could be educated to smile when they disagree especially in a democracy.
In our "precious fellowship," Dartmouth cordially invites us to Hanover for our 70th Reunion, June 12-14, 1992. "Us" means '22 classmates, wives, widows, sons, daughters, grandchildren, and, if necessary, a healthcare aide. The week will include Dartmouth's 222nd Commencement.
