"Love and marriage, love and marriage / Go together like a horse and carriage..." Frank SinatraSarah Geithner was married in Maine in September. Sarah and her husband live in Gambia, where she is the administrative officer of a government agricultural development project in Banjul. Her husband, Andrew Adam, is a consultant to the Gambian Finance Ministry. On the other side of the planet, Sue Nachman was married last year and is working for the New York Yankees in human resources.

Well, they finally did it. Yup, Brooks Elder and Alice Rudd were married, also in September, in New York. Alice is a vice president at Prime Charter Ltd., a New York investment company, and Brooks is an account executive at the Wells Rich Greene advertising agency in New York. And Beau Brown stood at the altar last fall too. Beau was married out in California.

Pat Donovan was married in October near Boston. Beau Brown, Sean Nicholson, and Rob Caiy were in his wedding party. Sean and Claire Rehnberg Nicholson are the proud parents of a baby girl, now six months old. Rob Cary is working in Washington, D.C. Also having a role at the wedding was Martha Molumphy (she was a gift bearer), who is a professor of English at Boston College. She also is an academic counselor for women athletes there. Supporting cast at the wedding, byway of attendance, were Steve and SusanSoble, Paul Korfonta, Raoul Socher, ScottJaynes, Rich and Anna Levitan, DougKeare, Tony Fenwick, Mike Martin, JeffPutnam, Rob Lucier, and Nick Leventis. Paul Korfonta works for the Department of Cabinet Affairs at the White House in D.C. Scott Jaynes is going for his Ph.D. in chemistry at MIT. Rich Levitan works for a marketing firm in Boston where he is manager of the direct marketing area, managing seven women (he notes it is a tough task!). Tony Fenwick is clerking for a judge in Los Angeles, after having graduated from Stanford Law School. Mike Martin was engaged and is probably married by now.

Ken Rutherford is studying hard at Stanford Business School, where he does not see Teddy Conway. I got that wrong an issue or two ago. Teddy is at Berkeley. Wini Welch is working for Bachman in Pennsylvania after having graduated from Stanford Business School last summer. Dave Schnabel has spent the last three years working in reader services at the Frick Collection Library in Manhattan.

Dale Lattanzio is working hard at Columbia Business School, where in October he was interviewing for summer jobs already. He is currently interested in the sales and tradingside of investment banking, so if anyone has a connection out there, give Dale a call. At Columbia, he has run into Marie Walsh, who is also working on her M.B.A. John Doherty is working for Proctor and Gamble in sales management out in Long Island. RobbieDouglass is working in Manhattan after having graduated from Tuck last summer. Scott Schroeder is an attorney for a life insurance company (i.e. house counsel) in Manhattan.

And now another word from our president, Burgie: "Hey, '86s! I hope that you enjoyed reading the Class Notes. Did you know that your class dues allow you to receive the Alumni Magazine and class newsletter? However, due to recent rate increases, and low dues participation, we can't pay our bills! If you have not already paid this year's dues, please send them to Beth Riley, 714 South Forrest Avenue #203, Ann Arbor, MI 48104."
