How appropriate that our class should finish the 1992 Green Derby with just about 68 percent of the class participating in the Alumni Fund. Tops among our competitive grouping of classes '64 through '69, that figure reflects the efforts of some 475 classmates and has enabled us to exceed this year's fundraising goal by about $9,000. Great momentum as we head into our Reunion year, and Head Agent Skip Waterhouse and the College thank you.

Congratulations to Herman and SherriDrier on the birth of their second child, Robert Andrew, in April. The Driers, including Robert Andrew's three-and-a-half-year older sister Genna, reside in Tucson, where Herman is the vice president for finance and CFO of Photometries Ltd., a venture capital-funded manufacturer of high-performance CCD cameras and imaging systems.

Some time ago I learned that David Irwin had tossed his hat into the ring for district moderator of the Conval School District, which includes David's hometown of Peterborough. With a master's degree in education and children in the senior and sophomore classes at Conval High School, David seemed to be the right person for the job, but I do not yet know how the race concluded.

Fred Wolf, after nearly 20 years with Frank, Bernstein, Conaway & Goldman, moved to the new Baltimore office of Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll in June. A number of his former partners and associates moved with Fred, as his previous firm elected to liquidate on May 31.

I expected to see Harvard economist BobReich on television, of course, in an election year when fellow Rhodes Scholar Bill Clinton is running for President, but I did not expect to read about Bob in the July 1992 edition of Shopping Centers Today. Bob had recently addressed the International Council of Shopping Centers Spring Convention in Las Vegas.
