Happy 1992! May the New Year hold much peace, love, and happiness for you all. (And if this be 1992, can 1993 be far away? Ed Heald and Tonks would tell you that it is not too early to set aside the dates June 17-2 0, 1993, for a special weekend with family and classmates in Hanover. More on that later.

Mark Nelson, of course, will still be in Biosphere II injune 1993 and will have to join us at the next big class gathering. Mark and his fellow Biospherians locked themselves into the Arizona-based steel and glass ark on September 26 and do not plan to emerge for two years. While on board the ark, Mark will be responsible for the animal fodder systems, for coordinating reports and transferring data with the mission control folks on the outside, and for assisting in the management of the wilderness sections in Biosphere 11. We wish Mark and his colleagues the best.

Word has it that Gerry Bell returned to the Hanover Plain in October to discuss career opportunities in employee benefit consulting. Gerry lives in Basking Ridge, N.J., and works for Kwasha Lipton in Fort Lee.

A book about former D.C. Mayor Marion Barry by classmate Jonathan Agronsky is due to hit the bookstore shelves in January. As many of you know, Jon is a reporter and writer for the Voice of America in the Capitol.

Let me hear what's new with, the rest of you.
