Who said the class of '68 lacked gear! Thanks in large part to class agent Skip Waterhouse and company, we pushed our class contributions to the 1989 75th Anniversary Alumni Fund over our dollar goal of $128,000. This superb effort helped the Fund set a new all-time dollar record of $12,317,201. Great news, indeed.

Great news, also, about mini-reunions scheduled for this fall. By now, you have all heard about the get-togethers John Engelman planned for this month, following the Dartmouth-Harvard game in Cambridge and following the Yale game in Hanover. But you may not yet have heard about the November 4 celebration, following our victory over the Columbia Lions in New York City.

Class of' 67 mini-reunion chair Bill Yaggy has graciously extended an invitation to '68s to join '67s at his home in the Bronx, immediately after the Columbia game. Bill lives only about five minutes from Baker Field, and he expects to host a fine turnout from these two outstanding Dartmouth classes. To let Bill know you are coming and to obtain the necessary directions to his home, please call him at 212/601-3081 (home), or 212/603-4751 (work). See you there.

John, by the way, did return to Chicago this summer to visit family and friends and, yes, to attend his 25th reunion at Highland Park High School. John claims to be all set now for our 25th at Dartmouth.
