Jim Davies has been named president of Architectural Resources Cambridge Inc., whose specialties include designing buildings and campuses for universities nationwide. Jim has done master plans and planning studies for Amherst, Dartmouth (renovation of the Wigwam dorms, now the River Cluster, in the eighties), Duke, Harvard, Syracuse, Tufts, and Williams. His 34-year-old Cambridge, Mass., firm recently did the 102,000-square-foot campus center for Boston College and the 187,000-square-foot College of Business for the University of lowa. They also designed the U.S. Embassy in Seoul. A graduate of the Harvard School of Design, Jim lives with wife Katie in a renovated 1875 Victorian in Concord. Both kids went to Dartmouth.

Do you know that two top real-estate lawyers are '63s? There's Jerry Uram, whose expertise in drafting and analyzing commercial leases is in great demand in New York, the nation's largest market, and there's Pete Rotch, who is one of only three New Hampshire lawyers who are members of the prestigious American College of Real Estate Lawyers. A graduate of Yale Law, Jerry Uram built the real estate department at New York's Davis & Gilbert. Pete Rotch heads up real estate at McClane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton in Manchester, one of New Hampshire's largest law firms.

Noted at 30th Reunion, former tire executive Robert Chavey, Greentown, Pa., manages some $380 million, mostly for individual investors, and some pension funds at Shearson Lehman Brothers. "We help affluent people get wealthy," said Bob, who is joined by his wife, Kerry. Most investing is in common stock, but Bob's clients have $6 million in preferred stock with Chrysler, Deere, etc., and a couple of closed-end funds. Son Mark '87 practices law in Hartford, daughter Lisa is a Dartmouth '85, and Keith is at Wichita State.

Also at the 30th, Arnold Katz, former naval flight surgeon, head of ear, nose and throat department at State University of New York at Stony Brook, attended with wife Lillian. Arnold has taught at Tufts and is a captain in the naval reserve. Lillian is a nurse. John David is in law school, Rachell is in the class of 1997 at Dartmouth, and the twins Ruth and Jason, well, they're just twins right now and enjoying high school.

Glen Gale, who went from college professor to head of Campus Commercial Properties in Ann Arbor, Mich., enjoyed the reunion with wife Sharyn, a novelist and artist. The Gales have four sons. Youngest Jonathan is a Dartmouth '97.

Thirtieth reunion attendee Jim Dial has moved from creating ads for Levi's and Computerland in the San Francisco office of Foote, Cone & Belding, giant Chicago ad agency, to developing condominiums in Honolulu.

Reported at the reunion: Marjorie Culver '91, daughter of Howard and Monique Culver, Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif., is studying law at the University of Virginia; son Greg is in clinical psychology. Dad Howard is a lawyer at Targhee Inc., an environmental consulting firm.

Reunion revelers included Chip Bohlinger, Washington, D.C., John Steele, Concord, Mass., Steve Lewinstein, Providence, R.I., Wayne Sloper, Glastonbury, Conn., and Skip Mattoon, Deerfield, Mass.

Happy Thanksgiving to all.
