Walk-in History

It's the only walk-in time capsule at Dartmouth: the College History Room in Baker Library, endowed by a 1965 gift from Richard Mandel '26. The room recently got a facelift including portraits of all 13 Dartmouth presidents funded by Mandel's son Stephen F. Mandel '52 and grandsons Stephen F. Mandel Jr. '78 and Edward S. Mandel '81. One of the prize items: the original 1769 College Charter granted by the colonial governor.
