1926 congratulates Mike McGean '49 on receiving the Alumni Award at the Alumni Council meeting in December. Mike is 1926's great friend he was a guest of our 65th reunion, secretary of the College for over 25 years, and has served Dartmouth for almost 40 years.
Classmate Ed Emerson received two thank-you letters from Dartmouth College, from President Freedman and from College Archivist Ken Cramer for his donation of an original copy of The Stamp Act (from Revolutionary War days), which after two centuries was found in the attic of the Emerson family homestead built in 1648. The property was given by the Emerson family to the Historical Society of Danvers.
