I spoke to Grace Titus, widow of Clay, who died April 5. They lived in an active retirement community in Florida and she and Clay lived a full life.

I had a nice talk with John Todd, although a bit difficult since we are both hard of hearing. He keeps in touch with two sons who live in different states. He gets his exercise walking along the beach.

Ken Webster lives in a retirement home in Florida. He has problems related to macular degeneration but that does not stop him from enjoying the company of his girlfriend and attending meetings of Dartmouth alums in his area. He just keeps going.

Morris Sherman and his wife enjoy good health living in Florida. He exercises daily and keeps active reading and taking care of their affairs.

Lou Bookheim is feeling much better and is now able to exercise. He lives about a half hour from me and I am going to go down and get together with him.

Margaret, wife of Charlie Cole, tells me that he is struggling to adjust to a move to Virginia after living in Rhode Island most of his life. He has been in and out of hospitals, but they try to live their lives to the fullest.

I can’t say enough about our Tear Bag editor Pete Smith. He is a jewel, and we are lucky to have him. If you want him to continue, fill out the Green Card telling him how you feel about him and add a little something about yourself.

Keep on going and the great class of 1935 will endure.
