It has taken buddy Teevens just over ten years to move from an assistant coaching position to the head job at Maine to the head job at Dartmouth to the head job at Tulane, a high-profile, high-pressure position that puts him within the elite of big-time college football. He left Dartmouth in triumph after winning two consecutive Ivy League titles and rebuilding the program. Teevens's first year at Tulane ended in a 2-9 record, a first year similar to the one he had at Dartmouth. "Good things are going to happen here," he predicts.
