Even though George Snell had a remarkable 39-year science career at the Jackson Laboratory in Bar Harbor, Maine, and won a Nobel Prize and many other honors, today he still lives quietly in town, takes daily walks, and has hearing problems just like the rest of us. His wife, Rhoda, uses a walker because she broke a hip some months ago. Their son Tom lives nearby, and son Roy and family live in South Woodstock, Vt., where many years ago George greatly enjoyed his parents' summer home.
Our highland Park, Ill, classmate WorthyWalters had a rough Christmas—an October kidney removal led to a December heart attack, then bypass surgery, and he was home January 6! We certainly wish him well.

Wad spent 45 years teaching and coaching in independent schools, and 34 summers as a tennis pro at Wentworth-by-the-Sea, Newcastle, N.H. The Wood s daughter Diane, director of the World Rehabilitation Fund, lives in Dover, near Portsmouth, N.H.
Hank Parker left us in 1991, and his wife, Jane, stays very busy visiting their son Henry Langdon '63, daughter Constance, and grandchildren. Jane also keeps involved in her many Winnetka, Ill., organizations and church groups. She continues playing tennis, considering it a relief. All this was in her Christmas card for family and friends.
Head agent George Scott says 1926 well understands what the Alumni Fund means to Dartmouth, and more than 90 percent will respond, as usual, between now and the final June 30 date.
