April is finally here, and signs of spring are everywhere in Boston. Flowers are blooming, people are once again jogging along the Charles River, and the Red Sox are about to start their pennant-winning season. Things are looking good. Speaking of the Red Sox, Tim Carey has returned to Ft. Myers, Fit., for spring training with one of their miner-league teams.

Another Red Sox fan, Adam Shumaker, has had beautiful weather down in Gainesville, Fla., where he is doing research for the University of Florida Medical School.

On a bitter cold day in January, I watched the Super Bowl in the Brighton, Mass., apartment of George Jones, Sara Cassidy, and Andrew Lee. Also present to watch the slaughter were fellow Bostonians NaomiAoki, Rizal Ahmed, Craig Smith, EllenDonaldson, Dave Chang, Geoff Kunz,Ashley O'Neill, John Lynch, and SusanOrlando.

Jon Douglas writes from North Carolina, where he is an editorial assistant at the Duke Alumni Magazine. An avid baseball fan, Jon spent last summer visiting baseball parks across the country, catching games in Toronto, Detroit, Cincinnati, Chicago (both parks), Milwaukee, New York, Philadelphia, and Baltimore. He even went to the "Field of Dreams" movie site in lowa. Jon reports that PaulGoldstein works at a law firm in Chicago.

Blaine Connor writes from Joliet, Ill., where he works in a machine shop and hopes to go to graduate school for English or "modern studies." Blaine reports that MarkLarson is in grad school in psychology at Syracuse; Jen Silverman studies psychology at the University of Minnesota; MatthewHenken studies philosophy at Berkeley; and Jason Cillo is a paramedic in California.

Brunei Bredy works at the Boston University medical campus and laments the deterioration of his pong abilities. KristyWiwczar writes from New York City, where she is a bankruptcy paralegal at O'Melveny & Myers. Kristy reports that Melissa Scheele works for Price Waterhouse; and Jenny Davis works for Scadden Arps.

Charlie McCain sent a letter from Palo Alto, Calif., where he studies at Stanford Law School. He bumped into Sue-Joe Shin and Steve Hunt at a 24-hour Taco Bell. Sue-Joe is enrolled in Stanford's engineering program, and Steve is in Stanford Med School. Charlie also reports that Tom Heyck is in med school at the University of Florida, and JerryParkolap is in med school at Syracuse and is training for the Mr. Syracuse bodybuilding competition.

Lou Kleiger writes from the depths of the University of Pittsburgh Medical School. He reports that the only other '92 he knows of in Pittsburgh is Loretta Lobes, who studies at Pittsburgh Law School.

Megan Eliassen writes to report that she is on her way to Taiwan, where she will teach English to elementary school children for the next year and a half. Megan spent the fall in Boulder with Vanessa Kitzis and PamZachar, who were taking pre-med classes at Colorado University.

Wedding bells will soon be ringing for Dave"Boot" Berkley and Lynn Duffy '93, who got engaged before Christmas. On Christmas Eve Greg Rush proposed to Kathleen Purcell '93 (who said yes). During senior week TonyAgudelo proposed to Carolan Magnoli by lamplight outside Kresge. Tony and Carolan are holding off on the wedding until Tony finishes law school at William and Mary. Carolan is a proofreader for Harper's Bazaar in New York City.

I hope to see you all in Hanover next month for Green Key weekend, May 8-9.
