The summer has just about ended, and another round of 1992 weddings and engagements has hit us. Will '92 s ever be able to announce their engagements without sending a shock through the rest of us? I find myself congratulating my friends with mixed emotions of happiness, jealousy, and relief that I'm not in their shoes yet. And just think, many of them haven't even started having kids yet! When we start becoming god parents to our classmates' children, we'll know we're starting to get old. On that cheery note...

In mid-June, Mike Faherty proposed to Jennifer Sandoval during their vacation in the Hamptons. Mike and Jenn, who met last year while working at Ogilve Mather & Cos. in New York City, plan to wed in June 1995. After teaching summer classes at Milton Academy in Milton, Mass., Jenn will spend the 1994-95 school year teaching at a small girls' school in Manhattan.

Lynn Cicerone and Kevin Ryan (Middlebury '92) were engaged this spring and plan to marry next year. Lynn and Kevin live together in Middletown, Conn., where Lynn works for the Bank of Boston and Kevin for Fleet Bank.

Lil Guerra and Kevin Lewis '91 will wed in Wisconsin in the fall of 1995.

Dave "Boot" Berkeley and Lynn Duffy Berkeley '93 were married at the end of May in Lynn's hometown of Westwood, Mass. Geoff Mac Donald and Tracy Tysenn tied the knot this summer in Florida. Geoff is still attending Boston University Law School, and Tracy is working in Boston. Susan Ferreby and Rich Mydry were wed this summer in Quechee. They will live in Washington, D.C.

Sharon Cramer and Michael Johnson, who met while working for the Cambridge Technology Group in Boston, were married in February. The Johnson-Cramers are currently living in Brussels, Belgium, where Sharon teaches history at an international high school.

In other news, Tina Mabley was recently offered her dream job. In August, she started her job as international admissions liaison at Northfield-Mount Hermon, a prep school in Western Massachusetts. The position also requires Tina to be the school's liaison to the arts and take part in the school's attempt to revamp its technology program. Since Tina recently spent six months in Costa Rica, followed by an internship for a company doing research on technology in education, she will be perfect for the job.

Melissa Rich, who lives in New York City with Tisha Jackson, finished up her two-year stint at Chemical Bank in August and started work for Sony Corp. after Labor Day. Melissa and I traveled to Chicago for the 4th of July, where we stayed with Eric Vratimos, who is a consultant for Mercer. Also converging upon Eric's apartment for the festivities were Brett Kelleran, Tom Brodie,John Davi, Mike Mahoney, Ben Craw-ford, and Kristin Kelley Crawford '91. At the Taste of Chicago, we met up with MargaretMcCrudden, Kristen Morrow, and SuzanneSellers, who had stopped off to visit Joy Knauf and Mary Breen on their way cross-country. Incidentally, Eric just left for three months in Scotland on company business.

In the mailbag: Devere Beard sent a postcard to let everyone know that he is a fulltime artist in Baltimore. His debut exhibit ended in January, and he hopes to start teaching art this fall.

Nancy DeSa wrote in March from Athens, Ga., where she wrote technical manuals for a scientific-instrument company. "Most of the time," Nancy says, "I have no idea what I'm writing about." Nancy left that exciting job in May and is now at the University of Arizona in Tucson, studying for her master's in library science, and she doesn't want to hear any more librarian jokes.

As for me, I just gave notice at my job in West Lebanon, and I'm returning to my former job as a legal assistant in Boston. The more things change, the more they stay the same. See you next month! Take care and keep in touch.
