I was shocked to find out how deep the mail pile has become. Rich Morgner writes from New York City, where he's working as an analyst for Prudential Securities. Rich wanted to send the following message to his friends: "[I] want to express my appreciation and gratitude for all of the support and kindness I received from the members of the class of '92 when my father recently passed away."

Geoff Neuhoff spent the better parts of 1992 and 1993 teaching English in the Czech Republic. He returned to Charlotte, N.C., in September, but his current whereabouts are unknown.

Avanish Bhavsar writes from Chicago, where he's working for McKinsey, a management-consulting firm. He also informed me that Dave Clancy is finishing up his second year at Harvard Law School, and BobDelise is consulting in Boston. Avanish encourages all '92s to gather at the Corner Pocket bar in Chicago for the monthly Dartmouth gathering.

In November Dan Gavin returned from a 14-month stay in Western Borneo, where he participated in an ecology research project. The site of the study was at the Cabang Pani Research Camp in Gunung Palung National Park, which lies in the middle of a 90,000 hectare national park. Locals believe that the park is haunted, but the scariest creatures Dan encountered were orangutans, gibbons, and a banded krait (an aquatic cobra). Upon Dan's departure, he was replaced byjenBurnaford.

Beth Levene wrote in October to report that she is in her first year at the University of Chicago Law School. She reports that BethRensel is a legal assistant for Rogers & Wells in N.Y.C., Cally Shea works for an ad agency there, and Indira Narine is a graduate student in English at Howard University.

Chris Frey works for KIXX radio in the Upper Valley and lives in nearby Grantham, N.H. In November he was awarded first place by the New Hampshire Association of Broadcasters, and received a Merit Award in the Public Affairs Show category of the 1993 Golden Mike Awards competition. Chris also does research and computer work with Bioprime, an environmental sales company in Norwich. Chris reports that Skip Murphy lives in Worcester, Mass.; Geoff Mac Donald attends Boston University Law School and will marry Tracy Tysenn in May; and Mike McCune works at WBFL in Bellows Falls, Vt.

Willie Williams uses raisins to help his third-grade students count and figure out arithmetic problems, a method which was recently caught on film. The videotape will be used to further train educators across the country, and will air on the Educational Television Network.

Cristy Shero and Susan Ferreby co-wrote a letter from Berea, Ky., where they met for lunch. Cristy will marry Phil Neuhoff in June and will move to California. Susan and RichMudry will also wed in June.

Speaking of engagements, Abby Bergholz and Geoff Kunz were engaged in December and plan to marry in July 1994. Both are living in Columbus, Ohio. Abby works for Anderson Consulting, and Geoff is at Ohio State Med School.

Betsy Cowles Kosky and her husband, David Kosky, were blessed with the birth of Kyle Page Kosky on February 16,1994. Betsy, David, and Kyle are all healthy and happy, and Betsy and David brag about Kyle's recent four-hour sleep record. The Kosky family lives in West Lebanon, and Betsy teaches third grade in White River Junction.

Well, that's all for now. Take care,
