The July 16-18 V-12 Reunion in Hanover was held in cool but sunny weather, and it seemed to be a resounding success. Our classmates Ed Grady,Townes Harris, and Dick Hollerith had a lot to do with that. Just about 100 Navy and Marine V-12's who are affiliated with '47 attended, along with another 100 in other classes from '45 to '48. This must be a record number of '47s assembled, and should give our class a good boost towards our 50th in June, 1997. Let's keep the momentum and the friendships. The details of the event will be carried in a Grady-O-Gram.

Joe Eisaman passed on Russ's report plus pictures of the unbelievable damage and power of Andrew. A roof on a nearby home sailed 100 yards to wipe out three of Russ's rooms plus a patio, and several of their fine trees were lost. Russ says it is all back in shape now, but it was costly.

• An award from the Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith.
• An award from the Alumni Association of Plymouth State College.
