Joe Schiffenhaus is still living in South Orange, N.J., and although he has been slowed up by a stroke in 1990, he is still able to get around. Joe recently returned from a vacation in Cape May, N.J. Phil Segal is doing very well and living in Marblehead, Mass., with his wife. He says that he enjoys playing bridge but has done less of this recently. He played tennis until about two years ago. Phil wanted to be remembered to Joe Schiffenhaus and his other classmates.
Taylor "Tay" Smith lives in Carmel, Calif., with his wife, Helene. He said that he is active doing some committee work and has been a participant in lawn bowling, and also that he was a tournament winner recently. He remembers that when he was at Dartmouth he traveled to the University of Washington in Seattle with the football team to dedicate their "new" stadium. Recently he was told that the"new" stadium is now being used as the University of Washington practice field. Tay sends his best regards to all members of the class of '23.
