Tales From the Crypt, Volume XIV, Chapter 10: Like so many troops storming the beaches of Normandy, the '80 brigade... just keeps on coming! Our Town, Part 2: Who says you can't go home again? Following five years at Bank of Boston and an M.B.A. from the Friar Tuck School of Business, Grant MacEwan moved back to the Upper Valley five years ago. Gran is vice president of lending for Lake Sunapee Savings Bank and is active in local affairs. He is president of the board of directors of Hannah House, an agency serving pregnant teenagers and teenage parents, is on the Board or the Lebanon Chamber of Commerce, and has recently been appointed to the Lebanon, N.H. city council. Grant seems to come by the political persuasion quite naturally: "someone has to step up and fill the power vacuum left by Rostenkowski's fall from grace." He and Anne have two sons and a daughter, Thornton Wilder couldn't have written a better script.

Babes in Toyland: Happy days are here again! On March 5, Betsy gave birth to our second son, Christopher Bartlett Carothers, who tipped the scales at four pounds, four ounces. He s a chip off the old block—he was so eager to rage, he came seven weeks early. Once again, Betsy and I are knee-deep in formula and loving it. And we are busy perfecting the sleep-deprivation techniques that came in so handy on Webster Avenue many moons ago. It is a wonderful life.
