This month I will be focusing on some of the freshman residents of New Hampshire Hall. More than 50 of our classmates lived in New Hamp, and many of them went on to have successful careers in the world of commerce and industry. However, this month I will focus on the '64s who made their mark in other fields of endeavor.

Four of the former residents went on to study medicine. Jerry Kolski is chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at the CrozerChester Medical Center in Upland, Pa.; John Arthur is practicing in Bremmerton, Wash.; Jim Grace in Ocean Springs, Miss.; and Wendell Smith (Peterborough, N.H.) at the Nashood Community Hospital in Ayer, Mass.

Bill Tomlinson (East Patchogue, N.Y.), received his Ph.D. in physics and is now involved in medical physics research at the Brookhaven National Laboratory. He also is the associate chair of the National Synchrotron Light Source, where he is currently working on the application of Synchrotron X-rays to radiotherapy and radiosurgery.

Seaford, Va. Ernie Notar recently moved to Battle Creek, Mich., where he is now the director of philanthropy for the International Youth Foundation.

That's all the room the magazine gives me for this month. Next month, read about classmates who are the captains of industry. I hope to see you all at the mini-reunion October 20-21.
