The clock is ticking, and we inch ever closer to the big event. Make sure your calendars are blocked out for the 25th Reunion, Thursday, June 13, through Sunday, June 16, 1996. The reunion committee continues its work on your behalf with the goal of making this the biggest, best, most interesting, most well attended, most colossal... well, anyway, a great time for all. It's going to be an event to remember and you don't want to miss it! Three things you can do personally to help ensure its success are: (1) decide you and your family will attend and commit to the date; (2) sit down right now and write your bio and essay for the yearbook and send them in; and (3) give some serious thought to your reunion Alumni Fund pledge.

The reunion committee has also held a series of discussions involving Jonathan Wolken and other members of Pilobolus, the pioneering dance troupe founded by members of our class, with the goal of having them perform as our featured entertainment at the reunion. Since Pilobolus will be celebrating its 25th anniversary next year as well, discussions have also focused on the possibility of our raising enough individual donations to commission a commemorative work to be premiered at the reunion. More on this as the story develops.

Murry Bowden wrote to remind us of another 25th Reunion coming up: "We (the 1970 Dartmouth football team) will be celebrating the 25th reunion of the undefeated Ivy and Lambert Trophy champions. It is an unsurpassed accomplishment a record worth celebrating in Hanover, Dartmouth Night, October 20, 1995. Be there!"

Russ Schleipman is "still in Boston and self-employed shooting print advertising and lots of annual reports. I haven't gotten jaded yet and love traveling to places like New Zealand for people like Timberland or around the world for corporate clients. But best of all is playing 'Moby Dick,' wherein my five-year-old buddy Sam ('Ahab') harpoons me frequently."

Michael Maynard reports that a series of "city dinners" is being planned for this fall with the goal of gathering groups of us together in New York, Boston, L.A., San Francisco, Chicago, and perhaps other venues. If you would like to be involved in staging such an event in your area, please get in touch with Mike at (617) 482-0533.
