Dartmouth scientists have been awarded a $7 million, five-year grant from the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences to study the affect on human health of lead, mercury, and other heavy metals found in Superfund cleanup sites. The director of the interdisciplinary project is Chemistry Professor Karen Wetterhahn, former acting dean of the faculty.
