Big Outdoors

A four-year, $100,000 grant from the R.K. Mellon Family Foundation has been given to the Outdoor Programs Office, which oversees the Dartmouth Outing Club, the College's ski teams, the Connecticut River waterfront and Ledyard Canoe Club, Mt. Moosilauke, and the Second College Grant. The funds will go for

physical improvements at various locations—along the Appalachian Trail and at Moosilauke's Ravine Lodge, and for a much needed bridge in the College Grant.
