Alicia Walker and Bryce Hundley '94 were married on june 29th in Traverse City, Mich., despite living in New York City. It was a long commute. According to Marianne Ruhl, Alicia "may [or may not] have one more year left to her French studies and he's working while trying to write the great American Musical." Sort of a nice lyrical twist on the novel thing.

Clipped from the Waterbury (Conn.) Republican-American: Steve Rinaldi has cofounded, along with a colleague he met while working in New Haven as a legal assistant, two Internet applications: Law Forum and Virtually Everything. Law Forum () has sites to market lawyers, firms, legal research, and even has a classified section. Virtually Everything offers the same features for many other types of businesses. The two services center on businesses located in the Waterbury area, but who knows...

"Greetings from Philadelphia. I just moved here from Boston where I was working in International Marketing for Honeywell Inc. the past three years," writes Elise Sheftel. "I'll be spending the next two years in Philly pursuing my M.B.A. at Wharton." Sophie Lieberman along with several other unnamed Dartmouth grads will also begin at Wharton in the fall. Last June in San Francisco, Elise accepted '94s Jeremy Warhaftig's marriage proposal. They have a May 1998 date in mind, by which time jeremy should have finished medical school at the University of Pittsburgh and Elise will have wrapped up her M.B.A. Rebecca Edelson has begun her third year at the Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel.

After a year of teaching English in Brazil, Margaret Fawley has moved to Santiago, Chile, where she is considering another year of teaching. GenevieveNoone and Kelly Parsons have also announced their engagement, planning for a May 1997 date. Genevieve and Kelly are UPenn Medical School classmates, rumor has it they met over a cadaver. Genevieve is currently the managing editor of the medical student's American Journal of Ethics and Medicine. No word on Kelly's managing or editing skills.

And now, with all the news that's fit to print, here is Tracey Pettengill, my Physics 13 lab partner extraordinare:

"Kaia Borgen is getting married at the end of June in Vail. Christina Maistrellis,Brooke Pengal, Robyn Cohen, LauraHewitt, Jen Campbell, and I will all be in attendance. Kaia just bought a house in Denver and will be going to the University of Denver b-school starting in January." Christina graduated from Emory Law School last spring and, hoping to avoid the craziness of the Olympics, took the bar in February. Robyn left her job at Children's Hospital and began medical school at NYC's Einstein University, specializing in inner-city medicine. Tracey and Robyn spent the summer out west, volunteering with Habitat for Humanity. Tracey has begun business school at Stanford, leaving her job at Mercer Management and boyfriend Clay Adams behind in Washington, D.C.

"What is that about 'absence makes the heart grow fonder?' " asks Tracey. Laura and her boyfriend left their jobs at Cambridge Associates in Boston and have returned to Hanover to attend Tuck. "Brooke continues her slog through med school at UConn, still running male students into the ground?!?!" Ted Ames, two months after relocating to Chicago with his girlfriend and signing a year lease, decided to move to Japan to teach English. Hmm.

And Gregg Serenbetz, everyone's favorite newsletter editor, continues his ruthless rampage through the classified section. Having abandoned all hope of gainful employment, rejecting career opportunities as a drug sniffer for Dulles Airport, groundskeeper for the Baltimore Ravens, and secret liaison to the Freemen, he has at last hit upon a new approachpre-med school. At last report, he was busily completing applications while working as a legal assistant at Arnold and Porter.

And that's the news. Check out my new e-mail address and use it.
