Wow! America! This place is crazy! Grocery stores are enormous and they have so much food! Water on command! As much as you want! And you don't have to carry it anywhere! The readjustment, I imagine, will take a little bit of time. So I'm doing everything I can to re-acculturate myself: ice cream, cold drinks, Wal-Mart on Christmas Eve.
Four weeks ahead of schedule last September Myrna Laine delivered a beautiful daughter, Aryanna. When Myrna wrote to me in November she said she was slowly adapting to motherhood. By now I'm sure she's a pro.
Tracey Pettengil claims not to have too much to report, but she is still in San Francisco and still working for ApproTEC, designing and selling products, such as irrigation pumps, to the billion poorest people in the world. Outside of work Tracey can be found on the triathalon circuit and playing soccer.
