For a change news! A rather dismal April was cheered by a visit from Sherm Adams's daughter Marion Adams Freese and Fred Marden's daughter Betty Marden Hyde (both of whom married Dartmouth alumni), who broughtme up to date on other members of the Adams 1920 family: Jean Adams Hallager (husband Dartmouth 47) Sarah Adams (single blessedness), and Sam Adams 59, now president of Sherm's creation, Loon Mountain ski paradise. The Hallagers offspring were also Dartmouth grads: Willian'74 Anne'81 • (Marion was glad to add that having a Dartmouth granddaughter helped reconcile Sher to the College's going coed ) All in all, the pleasant visit was a sort of 1920 mini reunion.

On a more solemn note, a letter from Judith DeWeyre Newell reported the death, of Alice.Wieelwright Dewey, widow of Maurice A. Dewey '20. I will furnish details of Mrs.Dewey's fruitful life in our next issue.

And at the last minute this announcement: Janet Frey Harte, wife of Ed Harte 45, and their four children have endowed a chair at the Tuck School in memory of Janet's father, Albert W. Frey, who taught at tuck the Chair Will be know as the Albert Wesley Frey professorship in marketing. Al Frey professorshipt at Tuck from 1921 to 1960. Interesting details from Janet's good covering letter will appear in the next issue It's wonderful to have a backlog of news!

Faithfully yours,
