The most welcome note from Alice Ungar, widow of Leo, who "said good bye" five years ago, sends greetings and lists the many civic honors Leo achieved in Council Bluffs, lowa, where he was held in great esteem. Other 1920 widows might like to send mini-biographies of their men.

Treasurer Hope Frey has forwarded a newsy letter from Peg (Mrs. Franklin)Johnson, describing her life in the Meridian Retirement Community in Lantana, Fla., where, despite various infirmities, she leads a pleasant and busy life. "My chief entertainment is bridge, and I am in a run of good luck right now." She concludes: "If you get to Florida, look me up."

Also from Hope comes a message from a surviving 1920 grad, Ralph S. Roberts of Pasadena, Calif.: "I feel fortunate in being able to live at home. I use a cane or walker and get lots of exercise in a program for dizziness control at USC. I also get down to the club for lunch, dinner, and parties." Ralph also makes the good suggestion that we print a list of living 1920 alumni "where all can see it." The computer April 1995 list includes 14 names of men who in 1983 were "Not Interested" and whose present status is unknown. But the following were listed as current: Stanley Conway (d. 1995), F.Irving Hutchins, C. Herbert MarshallJr., William W. Mezger, Gordon W.Phelps, Ralph S. Roberts, Wendell P.Sigler, Albert H. Steinbrecher, WarrenO. Turner. News from or about any of these men (besides Ralph and faithful Sig Sigler) would be most welcome.
