In September 1928, 621 matriculated. Injune 1932,422 graduated, and 45 others received degrees later at different times. Dick Olmsted received the following figures from alumni affairs/development, dated April 26, 1997:

Total Class Count Less Deceased: 171 Dartmouth Graduate Codes: Adopted: 2; Graduate: 122; Non Grad: 44; No Code (?): 3.

Dartmouth Status Codes: Deceased 434; Lost: 10; Mail Return: 3; Anonymous: 3. Total = 450 + 171 = 621!

Another interesting statistic: Our new class directory, printed for our 65th Reunion, has listed 144 living classmates, and, not too surprisedly, 145 widows.

Joe Boldt has given us the first of a series of reports on the answers to the questionnaire sent to class members, wives, and widows last spring. This concerns our choice in last fall's presidential election. Clinton won over Dole 51 to 42. However, eliminating the women's vote, Dole won 29 to 21, and both male and female voters felt the choice was "simply the best of a poor lot!" Other items of Joe's survey will appear in the DAM and in BobAckerberg's newsletter.
